Next to the Alqueva dam, the Herdade Vale do Manantio is a serene haven in the heart of the Alentejo, available per room or the entire property exclusively.
Located 7 kilometers from Moura and with an area of ??1000 hectares, it is decorated with typical Alentejo details and has a porch / lounge with a panoramic view of the Alentejo landscape, an “infinity” pool and a spa service with a jacuzzi, hammam and massage room. The property's spacious rooms have an open area with communication with the outside and are all equipped with air conditioning, while some also have a fireplace.
At Vale Do Manantio, guests can participate in various local activities such as dish shooting and pilates class or go on a biciyle, horse, helicopter or even air-balloon ride.
In what is one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe, some activities are also available, such as water skiing.
Throughout the stay, meals are prepared using regional ingredients, using family or traditional recipes. On designated days, a picnic is served at the highest point of the estate, under a thatched roof, resembling an African safari environment.
